The telephone technoloy has no management overhead, is more reliable than PCs, takes up very little room and is easy for even non technically minded people to use. The Internet cafe service is available immediately after registration with comms-lab.com with any required equipment such as (telephone adaptors) being rapidly dispatched. There are no ongoing expenses such as line rental and you only pay trade prices on your calls that you then resell at a profit.

The Internet cafe plan is a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) service. You'll need at least one Voice over IP telephone adaptor (supplied) and a registered account here at Comms-Lab. All the information you'll need to configure your telephone adaptor is available once you're signed in or call us so we can talk you through the process. Once you've signed up, you'll want to purchase some calling credit. Then we can set the mark-up you'd like to make on each call you're customers make - say 10%, 15% etc. If you wish, you can further increase your revenue by assigning connection charges (ie. 10,15, 50 pence) to each call.

Online tools provide you with easy to use call quoting facilities ie how much is a 10 minute call to India, Poland, US going to cost? so your customers will know in advance how long their budget will allow them to talk for. Print-outs of International call costs are downloadable as well as facilities to search online. The tools also provide up to the second metering of ongoing call costs and of the profit being made.

Costs

There are two costs related to this service:

1. The cost of the telephone adaptor (currently £29 - excluding postage)
2. The ongoing costs of any telephone calls you make

There are no other fees. We don't charge connection fees or markup call costs in any way. See our rates page for more information. This product does not charge any monthly fees associated with a traditional telephone number as incomming calls from PSTN lines is not a feature of this service.
